 Arrowhead
Known as "Vail's Private Address," Arrowhead was envisioned to be unique in the Vail Valley when property sales began in 1983. Golf at Arrowhead on the Jack Nicklaus-designed Country Club of the Rockies had been the primary focus at Arrowhead until skiing on Arrowhead Mountain became available for the 1988-89 ski season. Vail Resorts' "Village-to-Village" skiing concept has allowed Arrowhead owners to enjoy skiing at Beaver Creek and Bachelor Gulch, as well as the beautiful slopes of Arrowhead Mountain. Over the years, Arrowhead has also matured through development of its residential and community components. When Vail Associates acquired Arrowhead in 1993, plans were put into motion for constructionon an exciting new gateway to Beaver Creek Mountain from Arrowhead Village through development of Bachelor Gulch Village. Architectural designs for Arrowhead Village have adistinctly-European flavor featuring quaint, meandering streets for use by pedestrians with no vehicular traffic. Extending the design and service concepts inherent with a country club community to that of a ski resort have presented novel alternatives to land planners and mountain planners atVail Associates. Plans for the Arrowhead Alpine Club & Spa grew out of a desire to offer skiers and club members a high level of service and convenience in a private mountain side setting. Members are now able to complement a ski vacation with extensive valet ski services, ski lockers and a private locker room. Designed for year-round use, the world class Arrowhead Alpine Club & Spa is an activity center for the Arrowhead community - featuring an activities desk for scheduling back-country hikes, mountain bike trips, fly-fishing lessons or a variety of all-seasonrecreational and social diversions. Arrowhead property owners who are members also haveaccess to a complete health spa and exercise facility. There is also 24-hour controlled gateaccess for residents and their guests. Arrowhead is located on the banks of the Eagle River twelve miles west of Vail. |

Arrowhead ski area is the western gateway to North America's premier village-to-village skiexperience. Now trails connect from Arrowhead mountain to Bachelor Gulch Village and BeaverCreek Village. The cruising terrain makes Arrowhead a favorite ski mountain for local andvisitor families. Enjoy fresh, made-from-scratch soups, sandwiches and daily specials.Weather permitting, the outdoor BBQ serves grilled items on the sunny deck. The Broken ArrowCafe is open for continental breakfast, lunch and apres-ski. Summer Activities:
