Located in Edwards, CO , the new Eagle River Preserve is now open.? Boasting 72 acres of open space, this public land sits on the valley floor with great access to the Eagle River.? Although its been open for a few months, very few people seem to know that is available for public use and enjoyment.? I've only been there once, but I never see any cars in the parking lot.
Right in the heart of the Vail Valley and easily accessible by car, bike or walking, this open space has several small trails, a pond, and?thousands of feet of river frontage.? While its creation was a bit controversial, (was it a good use of public funds considering its central location to development?) now that its here, it is a nice amenity for residents and visitors of Homestead, Singletree, Edwards proper, and the entire Vail Valley.
