The Vail Ski Season has been extended to include this weekend, April 19-21, due to the large amounts of snow the resorts have received over the last part of the season. Over 24 inches of new snow has fallen since closing day of the 50th anniversary season. Additional snow is expected this week, so think skiing, think Vail!

Yesterday, this Broker took the day off to enjoy the fantastic conditions on Vail Mountain. We are now in full force on the front side of the mountain. With the opening of the Highline Express lift as well as the Riva Bahn Express the entire front side of the mountain is not only skiable, but the natural snow trails are soft and pillowy. Only a few weeks ago we could only ski the man made snow trails and they were icy and crowded, but that is no longer the case. The start of the Christmas vacation skiers will be excited to see the change that has taken place over the past two weeks.
That is correct! Lindsey Vonn is now training in Gold peak with a list of other familiar skiers such as Bode Miller and Ted Ligety. Due to the cold nights Vail has been able to utilize their ability to make ideal snow for the worlds best skiers.
