Judd Babcock brings 30 years of real estate experience to Gateway Land & Development. He developed, built, and sold luxury condominiums in Vermont. His development company was the largest affordable multi-family builder in the state. At the same time, Judd was instumental in helping to sell commercial properties in the New England area over a 20-year period. In 1991, Judd moved to the Vail Valley and opened a joint-venture in Denver. Today, Judd's expertise has been available to both residential and commercial customers who need the assistance of a professional covering the entire real estate industry. Most of Judd's knowledge has been directed towards helping Sellers who are in need of advice in a Buyer's market and who must use expert consultants to analyze and approach the sale of property in a new and unique fashion. Judd recently completed his 3-year tenure on the Board of the Eagle County Charter Academy where he served as president in 2000. Prior to joining the Board of ECCA, Judd had been the Executive Director of the Vail Christian High School. As a result of his efforts, he was nominated by the Colorado League of Charter Schools for the Charter Friends Award, and also by the Eagle County Board for the Friends of Education Award. In addition, Judd serves as a Crew Chief on the Birds of Prey Downhill course every year for the World Cup Races. Judd has three daughters and currently two daughters are attending the University of Colorado, where he has been asked to serve on the Board of the CU Parents Association where he is in charge of Volunteer Activities. He is a 1963 graduate of Washington and Lee University with a Bachelor of Science Degree and a 1971 graduate of Harvard Graduate School of Business.
